I represent a client on an Aggravated DWI with an accident. After back and forth negotiations with the District Attorney’s Office, I was able to convince the prosecutor to offer my client a driving while ability impaired. This essentially means that my client will be pleading guilty to a traffic infraction and not a crime. As result, he avoids a criminal conviction and he does not have to install an ignition interlock device (aka a breathalyzer) in his motor vehicle. All in a day’s work!
