I represent a client in a misdemeanor DWI where the client has a prior DWI conviction within 10 years. That means that the new DWI arrest should be upgraded to a felony DWI. I am happy to say that the District Attorney’s Office has agreed not to upgrade the DWI to a felony. And moreover, we have successfully negotiated a no jail plea as well, which under the circumstances, is a grand slam. All in a day’s work!
